The Continental Country Club Board of Directors generally meets the 4th Wedneswday of every month. Meetings are held at the Clubhouse at 2380 N. Oakmont Drive.

Larry Dannenfeldt: Larry was elected to the Board of Directors in 2005. His ties to the Flagstaff area go back to his undergraduate studies at NAU. He became a full-time resident of Continental Country Club in March 2004. His professional career has allowed him to work in managerial capacities in many varied and often large, complex organizations, as well as operating his own company as a partner in a small technology consulting firm. He is currently employed as the Director of Information Technology for Coconino County. Larry has served as the Chairperson of the Long Range Planning Committee and was elected President of the Board of Directors in September, 2006 [top]

Bob Cooper: Bob was elected to the board in August 2004. He worked in the Information Technology field for over 40 years with the last 28 years in various management positions with the Arizona Department of Health Services, including the position of Assistant Director of Information Technology. He has owned property in Continental for 14 years and lives here full-time. He enjoys golf and his volunteer work at the Museum of Northern Arizona. Bob diligently worked to get the Unified CC&Rs approved by the homeowners. He currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors and as Chairperson of the Financial, Assessment and Fees Committee.[top]

David Ricca: Dave is retired from the State Compensation Fund, which provides Worker's Compensation Insurance, where he served as the Flagstaff District Manager. In retirement, Dave has started a new career in real estate sales. He has served on the Board of Directors of Lakewood Village II Homeowners Association and has been a member of many civic organizations including the Elks Lodge, Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce, Northern Arizona Building Association, as well as other civic organizations including Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Dave is an avid golfer and also is a member of Aspen Valley Golf Course. He currently serves on the Architectural Control Committee and as Secretary of the Board of Directors. [top]

William McCamley: Bill was originally elected to the Board at the annual meeting on August 2002. He was re-elected in 2005. He is a retired US Air Force officer and is currently the principal of DeMiguel Elementary School. On serving on the board, Bill says, "Without dedicated participants, our fine community will not continue to improve, or meet the expectations of our friends and neighbors. Additionally, it is imperative that our amenities and facilities continue to be improved so that the uniqueness of our environment does not regress." A life long musician, Bill, in his spare time, serves as the conductor of the Coconino Community College Symphony.[top]

Virgil Theisen: Originally elected to the Board August 2003 and elected to his second term at the 2006 annual meeting, Virgil grew up on a farm in Iowa. After serving two years in the U.S. Army he attended Northern Iowa University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has worked over 25 years in the accounting and financial management field. Presently, he manages an income tax preparation office during tax season and does auditing work as an independent contractor the remainder of the year. Virgil serves as the club's Treasurer. He enjoys playing tennis, golf and exercising at the club. [top]

Roger McNicoll: Roger was elected to the Board in August 2003. Raised in Puunene, Maui, Hawaii, he eventually moved to the mainland and graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Marketing. He worked in procurement for Bechtel Power at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generation Station, and has also worked for several automotive dealerships. He has lived in Continental for five years and enjoys being part of a community of high-energy people. Roger is an avid golfer and serves on Continental's Greens Committee. [top]

Tom Spangler: A native and life-long resident of Flagstaff, Tom was elected to the Board of Directors at the 2002 Annual Meeting and re-elected in 2005. He has been active in a number of civic organizations. Tom is a licensed real estate professional specializing in Country Club properties. He has sold scores of property in the club, and is committed to meeting the needs and concerns of the residents. He is very enthused about the future of the club. In the past he has served as the board's Vice President. [top]

Larry Martin: An Arizona native and 21 year summer resident of Continental Country Club, Larry appreciates the opportunity to serve this community in the positive manner. As an avid golfer, he wants to see Continental continue to make improvements in all areas. Larry served in the U.S. Army and worked 28 years manufacturing environmentally safe cleaning products for the western states.[top]

Don McDonald: Elected in August, 2006, Don is a third generation native of Arizona. His early years were spent in the Verde Valley. After college he began a career in the microelectronics industry, which included management assignments as COO of Intense Photonics, CEO of JDS Uniphase and Director of Operation for AMD. He enjoys serving on the Board of Directors and assisting in guiding the improvement and enjoyment of CCC. He is active on the Architectural Control Committee and the Financial, Assessment and Fees Committee.[top]

Bob Zweifel: Bob is an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors. He represents Continental's two time share organizations, which he also serves as the General Manager. Originally from Tucson, he has lived in Flagstaff for many years. He enjoys spending time with his son attending little league baseball games and youth basketball games. A long time resident of Continental, he is committed to improving the club and its many amenities. In particular he has been the driving force behind all of the improvements at the Bear Paw Recreation Center.[top]
